Last week and this weekend were exceptionally busy, but I don't mind. It was nice to be able to visit with the ones that I love. Since it was quite busy, and I accomplished essentially no school work, I figured I would share some of the pictures that I took along the way.
One night, I made an awesome grilled chicken salad for Boy and myself. It was super good and far better for us than the Steak n' Shake that we were planning on eating. Boy even ate the squash that I put in it without complaining.
I also made some crayons for my little cousin. She turns 3 next weekend, but we went ahead and had her party. She'll never know anyway. It turned out to be quite a process, but I was happy with the results. So far, her mother and sister are the only ones to have played with them. That's fine by me, as long as they enjoy themselves.
Food seemed to be a theme. Here's an awesome yogurt, fruit, and granola breakfast that I made myself one morning.
And a super awesome sandwich that I had for lunch that day. In case you have not noticed, I am quite the fan of food.
Back to the crayons, they are super easy to make, but beware; making them in muffin tins makes them look like peanut butter cups, which means someone may try to eat them. . .
Then we went for a ride with Boy's mother, sister, and brother. His brother had quite the time. Boy was stoic as usual.
My sister came home for Easter. . .
Then Moo Moo and Boy got their mutual fixes, once Boy got here, that is. . .
I planned to complete an exam right now, but since the professor does not see fit to post it, I suppose I cannot do it. I decided I would share one of my doggie doos instead. Here is Moo Moo. . .
Moo Cow Roo has a very busy schedule. Everyday he has lots of doggie things to do and he does not appreciate when you interrupt his most important activity, napping. He is the sweetest dog; you can ask anyone (except the UPS man--not so keen on him).
Moo Moo's favorite hobbies include lounging by the pool, catching butterflies, and going on doggie adventures. Also, Moo Moo is in love with Boy; it's ridiculous really. He can hardly contain himself when Boy walks into the room. Most of the time, he ends up in Boy's lap. . .
I am not one of those crazy animal people that brings photos of their animals everywhere they go. I just happen to have a soft spot for mine and I thought I would share. Moo Moo is one of NINE, by the way; maybe I am an animal-cook. Oh well. His kisses make me happy.
Do you have any animal friends that make even the crummiest days better? I would love to hear about them and to see their pictures.
